Brief Description:  Running wires

Been pretty busy lately and haven't been at the build that much.

I did install the #6 nutplates for the Dynon pitot heater module. This was located in the bay where there is quick access through the inspection port where the bell crank lives.

As a result of the rise with the rib, I had to make some standoffs out of aluminum vent tube that I had left over. I picked up some #6 stainless screws from ACS and mounted the heater module.

I've also run the wires for the Duckwork lights, the heated pitot tube, stall warner, and nav lights through the conduit. No issues with that. I placed a temporary adel clamp on the mounting bracket, but don't like the setup. I don't think the wire should wear on the conduit, but if there is a chance it will, I'll add another run through the ribs to accomodate that unless I can get it through the pitot tube line passage way.

I have my MDRA inspection tomorrow with Ross Ferguson. The pre-close inspection is covering the wings and the empennage. Once that is done tomorrow, I can final close the wings and finish of the elevators, rudder and both the vertical and horizontal stabs.

Looking forward to seeing how my works fares with the MDRA! I figure that once the inspection is completed, I'll work on finishing those parts while waiting for the fuse kit. I'm really hoping to order the fuse kit by the end of October and have it here for December.

I've also been picking up small items along the way. The Bell tail fork arrived in the mail recently...looks good.
